Treat people with respect

Every person you meet is a real human being. Be kind, be curious, and give people the same respect you would want in return. Disagreements are fine. Cruelty is not.

Zero tolerance

The following are strictly prohibited and will lead to removal from the platform:

• Hate speech of any kind, including racism, slurs, and attacks based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.
• Derogatory, demeaning, or dehumanizing language toward any person or group.
• Harassment, bullying, stalking, threats, or intimidation.
• Encouraging or glorifying violence or self harm.

Protect minors

TalkRandom is for adults only. Any content that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits a minor is absolutely forbidden, will result in an immediate and permanent ban, and will be reported to the appropriate authorities. If you believe you are speaking with a minor, end the conversation and report it right away.

Keep it legal and safe

• No illegal activity, and no promotion of illegal goods or services.
• No sharing of another person's private information, and no doxxing.
• No spam, scams, solicitation, or advertising.
• Never send money to or share financial or personal details with a stranger.

Respect boundaries

If someone asks you to stop or chooses to skip, respect that choice immediately. Consent and comfort come first. You are always free to skip to a new conversation or leave at any time.

Reporting and enforcement

Every chat includes Skip and Report tools. If someone breaks these guidelines, skip them and file a report. We review reports and may issue warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans depending on the severity. Serious violations, especially those involving minors, are escalated immediately.
